Chris Barrett

Director and Principal Physiotherapist

Chris is a former GB Whitewater Canoeist and is passionate about ensuring everyone receives the very highest levels of care. His clients range from elite athletes striving to achieve their personnel best, to people recovering from a fall and want to improve their mobility.

He qualified in 2001 and has worked in the private sector since 2007. Services offered include “Hands on” Manual therapy , Rehabilitation, Home Visits, Pilates and Occupational Health Physiotherapy.

Deborah Barrett

Director and Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Deborah qualified in 2003 at Sheffield Hallam University, following qualification she worked within the NHS as a senior Physiotherapist within secondary care.  In 2007 Deborah specialised in MSK Physiotherapy and delivered Physiotherapy services within the NHS primary care settings throughout North and South of Tyne.  She utilises evidence based practice combining education, exercises and manual techniques to assist patients of all ages.

She has 14 years experience in Occupational health Physiotherapy, delivering both proactive and reactive services.  This includes Work Place assessments,  DSE assessments, task analysis, Manual Handling training along with injury prevention, treatment and education. She has delivered these services in a number of industries including, Chemical, Food distribution and Financial.

Karen Lawless

Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Karen became interested in Physiotherapy from a young age having played a variety of sports including Volleyball and Gaelic games. Following a Physiology course she went on to study Physiotherapy at Keele University. She rapidly enhanced her experience working in Football both at club level and for the Football Association. Throughout this time she had an opportunity to work with many elite athletes.

Eythan McMullan

Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Eythan qualified as a physiotherapist in 2013. Following qualification he has worked extensively within the NHS as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist, treating a range of patients such as post surgical rehabilitation and falls prevention. He later moved into private practice where he completed courses in acupunture, dry needling, pilates and biomechanical assessment. He utilises these hands on skills alongside evidence based exercise programmes to assist clients from all walks of life to achieve their goals.
